Parish welcomes new Priest in Charge

sylviaearle1.pngThe parish welcomed its new priest in Charge, the Reverend Sylvia Earle, at a licencing Service at All Saints' Spofforth on Wednesday 18th January.

The service was led by the Bishop of Ripon and Leeds, The Right Reverand John Packer.  It was a formal but joyous occasion with every section of our community (and that of Harewood and Collingham) represented.

We look forward to seeing Sylvia as she settles into her 'cure of souls' and to her working closely with Myra, who continues to be our local parish priest taking the bulk of the communion services and being our point of contact for weddings, baptism and funerals.
