Waste Recycling Environmental LimitedVillage Hall Improvements

The new dedicated Doctors' Surgery at the Long Memorial Hall was recently opened by the Mayor of Harrogate.

We are very grateful to the Landfill Communities Fund of the Waste Recycling Group (WRG), administered by Waste Recycling Environmental (WREN), who provided £21,000 of funding for general improvements to the village hall including disabled access, toilets and general upgrading of the meeting room and hallway.

The new disabled lift was funded by the Parish Council with a generous donation from County Cllr Trotter via the North Yorkshire County Council, County Area Committee for Harrogate District.

Wetlands Area Development in East Park Road

We would also like to thank Harrogate Borough Council's Community Chest and  the Big Lottery Breathing Spaces award schemes for their help in funding the Wetlands Area Development.

As work continues apace at the wetlands, East Park Road, the Parish Council would like to invite you to attend a consultation evening to share the vision of this exciting project which will create a very special open space for the village to enjoy. Find out more...
