The weather was amazing and so were the open gardens and strawberry tea set in the immaculate grounds of the Old Vicarage Garden was once again well attended and raised £1,200 which is to be divided this year between Spofforth in Bloom and the School.  Grateful thanks to Mark and Rachel Woodward for their hospitality in hosting this popular event, to those who opened their lovely gardens and to all the helpers on the day and those who worked behind the scenes to make this event such a success.

Summer Judging- don't forget we need to pull out all the stops to prepare for the Yorkshire In Bloom Judging on Wednesday 6th July.  We need our village to look a picture so that we can remain hopeful of a good award when the results are announced in September. Litter pick on Tuesday evening - equipment provided.  Please meet at the Village Hall
